Oscar Magnuson eyewear comes in four frame widths: narrow, medium, wide and oversize. It’s down to personal choice, but generally a narrower fit will suit a narrower face and the same applies for wide. Oversize frames are designed to suit all face sizes.It can be useful to use an old frame for reference. Frame width is measured in mm and is taken from the two outer points of the frame.

It’s generally thought that size of eyewear corresponds to size of face, but this excludes the appeal of oversize styles and individual taste. In fact, it’s more important to choose your eyewear based on nose fit. This prevents slippage and ensures the eyes are perfectly centered in the frames. What is bio-acetate?
Our bio-acetate, deriving from wood and cotton fibres, gives it an exclusive touch and sense of warmth and silkiness, which can only come from natural substances. Our bio-acetate is 100% eco-friendly, 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable.
What is precision optical glass?
All Oscar Magnuson sunglasses are fitted with premium high precision optical glass. Optical glass, thanks to its crystalline purify, provides the best long-lasting vision possible, high scratch resistance and maximum UV-protection. The lenses have a multilayered, anti-reflective coating with an oleophobic and hydrophobic treatment. Optical glass is 100% recyclable.
What does oleophobic and hydrophobic coating mean?
An oleophobic coating prevents dust, fingerprints and impurities from adhering to the lenses. A hydrophobic coating repels water for clearer vision.
What does anti reflective coating mean?
An anti reflective coating significantly reduces glare thereby improving vision.
What is vegetable tanned leather?
The tannin used to produce the leather is plant-based instead of chemical. Oscar Magnuson eyewear cases are made from Swedish-sourced, 100% organic leather tanned using oak bark extracts. This traditional and ecological method is an ancient practice yielding beautiful results.
How to take care of your Oscar Magnuson frame.
To maintain the condition of your eyewear, we recommend giving them a gentle rub with this micro-fibre cloth every day of use. This cloth doubles up as a pouch to keep your eco-leather eyewear case from wear and tear. Avoid using soap and water or any strong chemical cleaner. Instead, when the build up of deposits becomes noticeable, visit an optician for a qualified and complementary lens-out cleaning service. Keep eyewear out of extreme sunlight and heat to avoid risk of distortion. To extend your frames´ lifespan, always place them in their Oscar Magnuson case when not in use.
How to adjust your frame for better fit.
The temples and front can with professional care be adjusted to better fit. If your frames need adjusting, please see a professional optician, we do not recommend that you try to adjust the frames yourself.
I have a Warranty claim, what do I do?
If your glasses were purchased at www.oscarmagnuson.com and are within the two year warranty we should be able to replace your glasses right away. Are your glasses eligable for warranty? See our terms and conditions. If the purchase was made with one of our authorised retailers, please enquire with them directly about their specific policy. Glasses that are outside the warranty or have damage connected to wear and tear, will be assessed by the relevant team. To enquire about the damage, please email us at email@example.com.
How do I know the frame will fit me?
Every frame description includes nose fit and frame width. There are three nose fit sizes: narrow, medium and wide; and four frame widths: narrow, medium, wide and oversize. Please refer to our size guide for more details.
The product I’m looking for is out of stock. What do I do?
If you would like to be notified when a product is back in stock online, please visit our contact page and let us know the frame you are interested in. When your preferred model is back in stock we will let you know via email.
How do I change the address in the checkout?
Your shipping address can be edited in the checkout phase prior to placing your order.
Can I change or cancel the order after I have placed it?
We are not able to change or cancel orders once the order has been confirmed. Once received, the item can be returned. Please refer to our shipping and returns policy for details.

If you would like to pay via credit card, your billing and shipping addresses must have the same country location. In order to ship to a country that is different from your residence, you can pay via PayPal. Oscar Magnuson only ships within the European Union.
Can I change my delivery location once the order has been placed?
Once the order has been placed, it is not possible to change the delivery location. If you are unable to collect the parcel at the original location, please contact our customer support team and we will assist you with a solution.
Where do I find the tracking number for my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email and SMS with your tracking number. You can then use this number to follow the progress of your shipment.

How do I return an item that I have purchased?
If you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased from our online shop, we are more than happy to help you with a return. The item can be returned within 14 days of delivery if it is in its original condition. Return instructions can be found on the returns form that you received in your parcel. Unlike initial shipping, this is not a complimentary service.
How long does it take to receive a refund for a return?
We aim to provide refunds as soon as our team has received the returned parcel. However, during busy sale periods it can take up to three weeks to process a refund. Our team will send you an email as soon as the process is complete. Please feel free to get in touch if for any reason you have not received a refund within this time frame.
Can I exchange an item without placing a new order?
I have received a faulty item. What shall I do?
At Oscar Magnuson Spectacles we take product quality extremely seriously – that is why every item undergoes a rigorous process of quality control and we do our best to ensure that we deliver your order in perfect condition. However, if the item you received is not in mint condition, please contact our Customer Support Team, who will be happy to assist you on this matter. Please be advised, manufacturing defects discovered upon delivery of the goods have to be reported to Oscar Magnuson Spectacles within 14 days in order to proceed with an exchange or refund.

Personalised products cannot be returned or refunded. Once the order has been sent by the customer and confirmed by Oscar Magnuson Spectacles the customer will be informed via an order confirmation email. Once the order is processed and accepted, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation email. Personalised items may be delivered in a time slot indicated on the site which may be longer than regular delivery slots. Because of the clearly personalised nature of personalised products and the fact that they are produced specifically for the customer, they cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. Similarly, the customer does not have the right to cancel the order.

Normal delivery time (if nothing else is stated) is 3-7 business days in Sweden, orders to Europe take 4-8 business days. If a product is sold out, delivery time may be longer. Refund relating to the right of withdrawal
If you choose to withdraw your purchase in accordance with the terms set forth in this section 11, Oscar Magnuson Spectacles will issue a refund of the amount paid to Oscar Magnuson Spectacles including the shipping cost you have paid for the delivery from Oscar Magnuson Spectacles to you. However, if Express shipping has been used, Oscar Magnuson Spectacles will not issue a refund of the original shipping fee. Oscar Magnuson Spectacles will pay the refund within 14 days of the date on which we have received your notice of withdrawal, under the condition that Oscar Magnuson Spectacles has received the product/s from you or if Oscar Magnuson Spectacles has obtained proof that the products have been sent back to Oscar Magnuson Spectacles. The refund is made using the same payment method you used at the purchase if you do not explicitly accept another method. You will not be charged extra if another payment method is used.
